I use photoshop and I use lots of different colors.
I do work in watercolor occasionally but most of my work is all digital.
Ok and wich brushes do you use in photoshop?
I use spatter to block in, watercolor type brush for rendering and a airbrush for light effects (generally).
For this design (Sorcerer) I used the spatter brush for 95% of it with a little bit of airbrush for the smoke edges.
It varies though depending on the subject matter.
